2023 GoggleWorks In-House Exhibition

GoggleWorks Center for the Arts mission is to transform lives through unique interactions with art. Our In-House exhibition celebrates the work artists do in and around the studio spaces at GoggleWorks, inspiring and engaging people who come through our doors every day. Through exceptional arts education and engaging community programming, they inspire people to expand the boundaries of art making, personal growth, and appreciation for material culture.

In-House points the spotlight on a segment of our creative community. Specifically we look at the four groups of people who make it all happen: Work exchange; those who maintain and facilitate programming in exchange for studio space, Renters; who, working at all skill levels, call GoggleWorks home-base for their studio practice, Teachers; who use their expertise to inspire students to learn new skills and materials, and Staff; those who use their creativity to keep this organization running on a daily basis.

Chloe Theodosiou is a sculptural ceramicist with a background in fine arts and material engineering. Influenced by the work of constructivists and materialists, her forms are platforms for her experiments, as both her ceramic construction and glazing process play an equal part in her forms. Her current body of work is a reflection of the emotional influence, impact, and misinterpretations of nuanced interpersonal connections. She is an abstract builder who encourages her audience to trust where their emotional instincts take them.
